OUTSTANDING LESSON PLAN :
As a fresher in Kindergarten, it could be overwhelming for an educator to draft an outstanding plan. Here is the checklist that could be referred back by any tu.tor after completing your lesson plan.
Friends, What do you think is the secret behind every successful teacher? I believe that if a teacher is capable of making outstanding lesson plans she will also be able to deliver outstanding lessons.
1. SMART OBJECTIVE :
SMART stands for Specific Measurable Achievable Realistic Time-bound. The objective should be SMART as it plays a major role in Attainment. Your lesson will go outstanding if 90% of your class is able to achieve the objective. When I say " Attainable " some of you may think that you can fix an easy objective so that above 90% of your class will achieve it. I am so sorry my dears!!! It also depends on the challenges faced by your class. How far they had been challenged in their lessons. If your 90% of your class is attaining the objective you have determined without any efforts then I am afraid !!! your lesson may be rated weak!!! Hence, think twice before choosing an objective. Set it high and allow the children to struggle and achieve it. There lies your success.
2. STARTER ACTIVITY:
The next vital element of the lesson plan is the starter. The whole lesson depends on your captivating starter. Young children will be fascinated to further unfold the topic, only if the starter activity has a high impact on them. It is a kind of learning hook we can say, to unwind the entire objective. Thus, select a starter activity that is much engaging and appealing to kids. 
3. SUCCESS CRITERIA :
Another crucial factor that decides your victory is the Success Criteria. None other than you can decide the success criteria for your class because you know the range of each and every child. Hence, decide the criteria according to your children's ability and need. Pitching it too high and too low may be a problem. Some of you might have a question at this stage !!. Should I plan the success criteria in such a way that, it should be highly challenging to the higher achievers and medium level challenges to the middle achievers and not at all challenging to the lower achievers? Not at all guys !!! Your success criteria should be highly challenging to the three levels of children in its own way!!!
4. FGD :
Here comes the main part of your lesson plan. You can be as creative as you can since different sets of children might need different resources to achieve the goal. Therefore, plan your FGD creatively with a lot of differentiated resources. Collaboration and visible thinking must be seen here. As an educator, this is the section where you can showcase your questioning skills. Ask more probing questions in order to provoke the thinking ability of the children. This is also the challenging part of the whole lesson plan as the attainment can be easily judged here.
5. PLENARY:
What else guys !!! We are almost there. Your final touch up is the conclusion of the lesson plan with a fantabulous plenary activity. That's it. Plan an enthralling plenary which allows you to assess your children's attainment. You are done with your Outstanding Lesson Plan !!
Not but not the least I shall tell you a secret, your each and every activity should involve higher-order thinking skills and relate your entire set of activities and lessons to real-life situations as much as possible to make it an Outstanding lesson!!!
